Mamie Kaye, 04' 05' and 06' National Champion Butterscotch

Many people ask me if I have a favorite variety of Call, well here it is!! The beautiful rich butterscotch & white coloring and the distinct perfect white eye-lines on the females, the colorful silver blue-gray heads of the males against that claret and white chest set these birds on a pedestal of their own. You will be hard pressed to find a better set of Butterscotch Call Ducks anywhere in the U.S., than right here at the Wapsi!!
When you mention 'Butterscotch' to Call Duck Breeders, one name is at the top of everyone's list. That is Brice Wonders, Wonder's Waterfowl, Kirkwood, PA. The foundation flock of Butters here at the farm are nearly all Wonder's bred. Brice has bred/raised the past 4 NCBA National Champion Butterscotch Calls. I am extremely proud of the fact that those National Champions are now in our breeding pens here at the farm. They include: Mamie Kaye, the 2004/2005/2007 Champion; Nancy Faye, the 2004/2005/2007 RV Champion; Barbara Anne, the 2006 Champion; and Laura Mae, the 2006 RV National Champion. Four of the finest Butterscotch females you will run across. We call them the 'FIRST LADIES OF THE WAPSI'.
