The Giant Grey Dewlap Toulouse is truly a magnificent bird!!! Descended from Ancient French Stock, it is prized for it's massive body, huge head, large throat dewlap and it's calm nature. The keel and dewlap continue enlarging throughout the life of the bird and full body size is often not reached until 3 to 5 years of age. Ganders will oftentimes mature in the 30 lb. plus range.
    We have incorporated two bloodlines in our breeding program here at the farm, the main breeding birds were acquired from Someday Farms in Johnson City, TX., and recently we have added a group of females which originated from Holderread Farms in Oregon. A dynamic young male will be brought into the program in 2009, purchased from Gary Overton's superb flock in Ohio. Demand for goslings has far exceeded our supply the past few years, but with the addition of more terrific birds we should have many more available in 2009. Get your name on that waiting list!!
